Places to Visit in Europe

Europe is full of wonderful places to visit. It's full of culture, history and natural beauty. There are so many different places in Europe that are definitely worth the trip. Here are some top destinations below:

London, England

London is one of the most favoured destinations for tourists for a variety of reasons. There is always something happening in London, and there is something for everyone. From rich historical buildings, to incredible west end shows to designer shops, you will find something to do that suits you. There are attractions like Buckingham palace, the big wheel where you can see an incredible overhead view of London and Big Ben. There are also beautiful parks and plenty of designer shops.

Berlin, Germany

Berlin is another favoured holiday destination as it is rich in culture, history and it has buzzing nightlife. There are plenty of museums, tasty beer and creativity to see at every corner. This city celebrates freedom and there is a lot of interesting street art on most of the streets. Berlin is also considered a very safe place to be so you won't have to worry about your safety. There is something for everyone in Berlin.

Paris, France

As well as being one of the most romantic cities in the world, Paris has a lot to offer tourists. From amazing food, to beautiful sights and sounds. There is a lot going on in Paris. You can take a boat on the river and take in the sights, or you can visit Paris' landmarks and take some all important selfies. There are also a lot of stunning parks to visit if you want to enjoy some quiet time. Even though this city is big, there is a very peaceful aura about it that you will be addicted to.

Paris also has dozens of museums if art and culture is your thing too. For example, the Louvre Pyramid is one of the funkiest looking museums in the world, and is definitely worth checking out.

Moscow, Russia

Moscow is a must on any bucket list for a number of reasons. Firstly, the architecture is very intriguing, it almost feels like you are in a fantasy world. These architectural buildings are available to see at every turn. Moscow also has a wide range of museums to check out if you are into history and culture. Another reason to visit is for the spectacular views. There are a few spots around Moscow that allow you to get a great view of the city from an overhead view, for example from the federation tower or from the observation desk of the Cathedral of Christ. The streets are very historic and if you don't fancy walking, you can get a bus ride around the city to enjoy the sights too.

Santorini, Greek Islands

One of the main reasons people visit Santorini is for the beautiful architecture. Santorini can be spotted almost instantly on social media with the style of these beautiful buildings. Whilst here, you can enjoy scenic walks throughout Santorini and stunning views. As well as the gorgeous buildings, Santorini also has some amazing restaurants to try local cuisine in. If you fancy a quiet holiday, there are places like Oia which is at the top of the island where you can enjoy some peace and quiet. There are no shortage of luxury hotels either.

Copenhagen, Denmark

Copenhagen is another pretty little city that is worth a visit. Whether you want to try Danish cuisine or take in the culture, you will find it all in Copenhagen. There are plenty of lovely walks you can take through the city, but you can also have a tour by boat too if you fancy relaxing. The public transport is also very efficient here so it's very easy to get around. Copenhagen is a front runner for recycling and keeping clean, which is perfect for your body. Copenhagen is also home to a royal family, so you can visit things like castles, museums and old streets. If you fancy some exercise, Copenhagen is the perfect place for cycling.

Hallsatt, Austria

Hallsatt is one of the prettiest places in Europe. It has stunning views, beautiful buildings and high mountains. You can enjoy Hallsatt on land or by boat. You can get a ferry or a private floating boat that you can sit in. You will be in complete awe of your surroundings in Hallsatt. If you fancy a little shopping trip, they have shops that include homemade treasures and crafts. The village is rich with salt from its salt mine so there are a lot of products in the shops made from salt, for example, bath salts, seasoned salts and soaps.

Whilst in Hallsatt, you can also try some local cuisine. One of the most popular restaurants is Rudolfsturm, because you get an amazing overhead view of the lake whilst you eat.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam is another popular tourist destination, for various reasons including plenty of museums and galleries, art hotels, festivals and food. Amsterdam is flooded with history so if you are into culture and history, you will find some of the best museums and galleries in Europe here. The incredibly famous Van Gogh museum has over 200 paintings and 500 drawings from Van Gogh. On Fridays, it stays open late and you will find DJs there. No matter what time of the year, there will be something going on in Amsterdam, this includes festivals full of music, art and food. A cruise on the canal is one of the best ways to see the city too.
